Man, that is funny and so wrong. Shame on her parents for making her a public/political figure and thus susceptible to attack. Hopefully she's mature enough to handle joking and cruelty in a healthy way.

I mean, if I saw that image of me on a car, I'd assume I won life.

If the global warming it's overestimated or understimated I don't really know.

But Greta is right about one thing, this world civilization f...cked-up the place for kids.

Kids today grow in a stupid culture, bombared by erotism, porn, futility, narcisism, hedonism, consumism, fake behavior with exbibicionism, fake humanism, where people have no true ideology but a bunch of manipulated politic moviments disguised as ideoloy. E even families become splted even when still living together.

It's a mess.

To be honest climate change is more or less just the by product of overpopulation. Overpopulation is what leads to trash in the seas, pollution everywhere, overconsumption of resources etc...
I don't think we will have an issue with this in our lifetime, but at a certain point it will. In a way humans are the parasite and the earth is the host.

Does it count against a country if their population is growing, but mostly due to immigration? The US by far has more immigrants than any other nation, taking about 1M per year. We'd be about steady state if there were no immigration (not making an argument for eliminating immigration).

Anyhow, Japan is the trend setter now, and they are a sign of things to come with a declining population.

I'm hoping humans on Mars happens while I'm around. We've gone nowhere in my lifetime. Looking forward to autonomous cars too...

Speaking of autonomy, as we advance those frontiers, the cost of everything will plummet and we'll get even more wealthy. We will probably need a smaller population to support the wealth afforded by automation, which I expect will decline naturally. Somehow there is an inverse correlation between advancement of technology and a slowing population growth.

I believe in Global warming. I think it's real, despite some people say it's not man made or not mostly man made.

Anyway, even without global warming the world it's scr...w-up for kids. The environment can be f...up even without global warming. Polution, over population, water distribution, destruction of forests, polution of rivers and oceans, energy crisis, toxics pesticides use growing for produce food, superbaterias created due giant widespread antibiotics aplication for pigs and chickens creation. And the problems in moral & ethic aspects I aforementioned.

People don't want to change, they just wait some crazy brilliant scientist come with a magic bullet to save the day.
I always said I don't approuve human nature. Human nature have the seed of destructon and even self destruction. Warlord...
