+1.

Its miles as in miles per gallon.

It just so happens you are burning 0 gallons at that point.

So you are winning.

That counts

How about winching it back in ?

I can kind of see it both ways. On the one hand, I'm covering necessary distance that otherwise required gas. Then again, is it much different than pushing the car through the parking lot to artificially increase the M of MPG? I guess the former is necessary usage, the latter is more clearly cheating.

Would definitely be ideal. Maybe if I had stronger legs. It's a bit of a lip to get over and probably a slight grade. The same grade that makes getting out easier. Not a bad idea though.

EOP...I like it.

With the holiday weekend and everyone in my area at the beach or cooking out the roads to and from work have been nearly empty allowing me to hypermile like I've never hypermiled before.

Yesterday (Satruday) I reset my avg mpg and on the way to work got 61.7 mpg, by the time I got home it was 61.2 mpg.

Now it's Sunday and my trip to work has me at 61.3 mpg. These are numbers I didn't think were even possible for a Cobalt and I have beaten my previous round trip record by quite a bit.
Unfortunatly it looks like a storm is moving in which would hurt my drive home but it would be friggin awesome if I could keep a two day average of over 60 mpg.

My previous distance record for one tank was 603 miles.
I'm going to try to to a 1,000 km tank (621.4 mile) tank since I'm already 100 miles in and have only used 1/8 a tank of gas.

EDIT: Two day, two round trip, 141.2 mile average ended up being 60.75 mpg.

54.9 mpg from my DPF-plagued Swedish tank.
Can't complain about that.

Time to start aeromodding it.
