I wouldn't by Michelins I would buy Michelin's other brand BFG for $150 and then stack a $100 Costco discount on that. The 17" BFG tires I recently put on my TDI were $433 installed with lifetime flat repairs.
So you got the big brake german TDI?

15" rims are going the way of dinosaurs at least for light trucks. Hard to get cheap 31x10x 15 6 ply anymore. 245 x75r 15 maybe.

I guess so. Stock wheel sizes are on my Sportwagen are 16 to 18 inch. I had 15" snow tires from my Prius but 15 inch wheels don't clear the front brakes. I ended up with new 16 inch wheel / snow tire package for the TDI

Yes they are. When I was shopping for tries on my Astro I was looking at BFG Advantage L/T. They have 1 option for a 15 inch wheel - 235/75R15. They have 9 tires for 16 inch wheels, 8 tires for 17 inch wheels, and lots more all the way up to 22 inches.

It didn't have plastic fender flare overlays anyway. If you see other pictures of this model that I posted before, you'll see it. The previous generation of this model actually had it...

I'm sure 17" wheels are the smallest that will fit. You can't even get 16" wheels on the legacy Dodge Grand Caravans made after about 2017 because the front rotors got so big. I doubt something with over 1500 pounds of payload rating would get smaller brakes than a 5 year old minivan.

You think 15" LT tires are hard to find, the post office is running 200,000 trucks on 14" tires that require an LT load rating. So there are 2 tires available and the winter rated one is over $300 each. They rarely last a year in our use.

My grandpa was a letter carrier. He treated the pedals as on/off devices.

I know how hard 14" are to find. Nursing a Casita trailer with a 26" dia wheel well. The USPS can at least order a custom run (if they choose) of whatever they want.

And the fact they rarely address other problems that lead to accelerated tie wear like ball joints, alignment, and tire rods. It's also the constant sharp turning in and out of mailboxes, around cars and garbage cans. Much of the turning is when the truck is stationary, much at full lock of the wheel.

They are really good at rotating the tires every 6 months so those back tires can get worn down to the cords on the inside too LOL.

It's funny: GSA would pay for replacement tires, we did 26 one year on the "insecurity" vehicle. Would they pay for an alignment? NOPE

For some specific tire sizes, it's nearly impossible to find. On a sidenote, a few weeks ago I was quite surprised to see the original tire for the latest versions of the VW Kombi at a home-improvement store, while a friend of mine who uses that very same tire size in his Chevrolet Montana got a random Chinese set of tires instead of even looking for the Goodyears.

Changed the color on my Maverick order from Alto Blue to the Iconic Silver after seeing it in a couple of youtube videos, the silver looks fine with the blue-gray interior
