See my car's mod & maintenance thread and my electric bicycle's thread for ongoing projects. I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

Put my car on a calibrated scale today before removing the engine - 1834lbs. That includes: CR-Z seats (+48lbs over stock), subwoofer + amp + Infinity speaker install (est. 15lbs), additional sound dampening (~25lbs), full tank of gas (75lbs), full wiper reservoir (8lbs), a rebuilt interior (maybe 15lbs?), as well as a jack, spare tire, some tools, aftermarket DC-DC converter and a bit of junk in the glove box. Minus all this stuff the car would weigh under 1650lbs. Will weigh the car after my swap.
