of course..

1. Its not our car..

2. its only MR A that would get hit when "the Boss" sees George done up like a 1930's broken back Hotrod.

P.S., the crayons are for eating

I'm not allowed crayons any more since the incident with the Cynthia from my day care centre, the goat and the bowl of cocoa pops. She's still having to use the cream 3 times a day even now, and the goat still gives me an evil look.

As you know alcohol in Scotland is very very rare but I'm sure I could find something somewhere.

Result of a fast trip down south and back in the Prius.

As we had a time (and hunger) constraint no hypermiling was done (except for eco-mode and riding the terrain as much as possible.

As George has some competition* we have blocked the lower grill

On the left (of the image) is blocked anyway, the right hand side is 90% blocked now. I'm going to monitor temps as I sit in traffic a bit.

*(When I tap "competition" of course I mean someone who is doing this a lot better than I am )

Looks good. I belive you just covered the grill with some very thin material as opposed to my 15mm. you may have gone the correct way as your lower part of the grill might work better as a splitter. I have been reading on since the mount: Diffuser (automotive) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ge_S_front.jpg

If I have then its more by chance. I'm just aware that I will have to remove anything I do just now for servicing as George is new and has a warranty, and I have a feeling that my Toyota place is going to be a PITA...

First run with the lower block in place, hard to tell any changes on the bypass (my only big of highway). Temps rose to around 92C on the long uphill push and settled back to 87 on the flat. I don't know how this compares to unblocked as I was watching it more closely this morning just in case.

AVG to work on the SG2 registered 56 compared to normally about 52-53 (its the trip home where I gain) but two other factors may be in play - the strong winds we have been having are gone and I was especially lucky with a truck I could tuck behind all the way.

I'm sure it has effect though not revolutionary.
The temp on mine was never over 86 without the block. Now it occasionally goes up to 95 but i didn't block the upper part. Hm, maybe I should try it.

I still have about 25% of the opening clear, I may remove the lower one and get more "before" temp figures with just the nostrils done. At least he won't snore
