Oh my! What a surprise
I'm afraid that it'll be hard to fill the void you're leaving behind. I've enjoyed your keen-witted responses and humour (<- see? I even used the British spelling ), but you've also helped shaped this forum as a source of helpful technical information. I'll miss all that.
Good luck to you, A.
Cheers!!

Its a thought which has been coming for a while - I've got better things to spend my time on than the debate threads that get started here. I've started to look at other places to "hang out" which seem more, well, "fun".
So long, and thanks for all the fish and I wish all well, including those I don't agree with

Sorry to see you go. I too have enjoyed your wit and insight giving me a broader, more continental perspective. I clicked on a thread earlier today, supposedly about a Ford engine, that degenerated into an uninformed, childish nation bashing rant. Where are the moderators? There are plenty of other sites for trading insults. This site site should be a place to share knowledge for the greater good.
Best of luck.

Now that you're back...
Rumour has it that you haven't been active recently because you spent the last 7 months locked up in a garage, furiously working on two full-length boattails - for the Aygo and for Mrs. A's Prius. When will we see pictures? And have you done A-B-A testing yet?

Ha! If only. No I needed a pause and to be honest there isn't anywhere as much fun as this. I will be a calmer A though, so no debates for me... hopefully.
I would love to post dozens of mods, but work has also interrupted progress on those. The only mod to George is a K&N panel filter (paper element replacement) - 'cos it was cheap at a show I went to and curiously MPG rose - something to look at maybe. And loads of squishy rubber pushed into gaps in the Prius interior which still rattles more than a Lada.
Will catch up with the threads and a few guys still around, update the fuel log (will take a while ) and see what happens.
Happy FE'ing
