My wife (then my girlfriend) had an apartment at 1401 Rosemary. Lee Street was real close! I miss CoMo!

My plans have been edited: I'm not going to be taking a summer class until july, so I've got more than a long weekend; so I'll probably be able to handle driving across the state for a meet. Heck, that won't be nothin'; the next day I'll be driving up to michigan! I'll be back through St. Louis the weekend of July 4th, so I could plan to make a meet Sat July 4th if there was one to make (If there is one and it's closer to St. Louis, I might forgo KC to cut down the driving).

Now I gotta work on some mods! The car is the right color (coroplast white), so all I need is some coroplast, some inspiration, and some perspiration!

I haven't heard yet from anyone who wants to meet in July. My summer classes start Monday. :-(

Don't drive so much that you burn yourself out!

I have coroplast - 18" by 24" or so, but you have to paint them because they're used campaign signs. Feel free to pick them up in STL or if you come to KC I can bring a bunch for you.

I've done this long of a trip many times before in this car and others. Fill up the mp3 player, and stop by the library for some books on tape/cd and I'm set; the only problem is no cruse control in this car! So I think my first mod is going to have to be a hand throttle.

I'd definitely be down for some coroplast. I may even have to give the guy from this thread a call and see if he has any 4x8 sheets left since we'll be driving right past! I just went and measured, I'd have to fold/cut a 4x8 sheet into 3rds to get it in my car! But thats ok, there'll only be 2 people in the car going back to Dallas, so there'll be lots of room for coroplast!

A half-dozen of the 18 by 24 size is all that I would really need at the most. If I were to end up with a donor S-10, I'd try to get a couple of those 4 feet by 8 feet ones on the for sale thread up near Columbia.

I've actually spotted an older Datsun-looking car in my home town, very similar in appearance to the Blue Meanie, only red instead of blue. It's had the grass growing up around it for a month or so...

Two weeks from Saturday...

Why yes, I do have ecomodder decals!!! You can too, just for showing up!

Here is the car that you will want to look for. It will be in the westernmost part of the KC ICMall parking lot mentioned previously... barring major disaster, that is...

Did I go too far??? Surely the added effect of the clings and decals together will help me on the trip up there. I know the clings helped a little in keeping the interior cool, thereby reducing A/C load...

You may or may not see me using this. It nearly qualifies as my only visible means of support... but I do use a walking cane when free of my wheels...

Now, finally: there are THREE visible ecomods in the next picture. Can you pick out all three? (Hint: the valve stem cap has a green top.)

You may use the Intrigue's garage entry for help...

Without looking in the garage: Grill block (obvious, but very nicely done), Valve stem hint sounds like max/over inflation and/or low rolling resistance tires, and that air dam looks a bit large to be stock (plus, I'm pretty sure the stock doesn't overlap the bumper cover by the wheels, Though the more I think about it the less sure I am if it's stock or not though I don't see anything else that would qualify)

I'm not sure what sort of mods I'll have, just yet. I have to get tires before the trip so I'll at least be going for something with a higher inflation rating than my current tires (35 psi? are you kidding!?!?) and hopefully somewhat low rolling resistance (any ideas on brand/model, or where to look to find that?).

The other mod I really need to do is a hand throttle. I've done this trip to michigan in this car with no cruse control before, and would much prefer not to repeat that. I'll see what I can come up with for a grill block, but I won't have any coroplast till I get there. (6-10 sheets is good for me, Gascort, unless you're trying to get rid of it. If thats the case, I'll be happy to take more; it'll just take me longer to put it to use.)

(Edit) Oh, Nitrogen, snazzy! when you said green cap I was thinking of the cap with the pressure gauge in it; where its green when the pressure is above and red when the pressures is below a certain amount. Had some of those on the truck I had previous to this car. (/Edit)
