Look this article.

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by...vs-oled-vs-led

Look how they displayed a blured image duging motion, and despite that said there is no motion blur on OLED.
I saw motion blur in a OLED, and wasn't insignificant. It was a 4K image of pendulun very slow, and the details vanished much more than should for such slow speed.
Of course it also have the blur of camera compression and video encoding for 4K, after edited, compression. Compressiona are horrible with movement, worse than MPEG2 DVDs in terms of the difference from no movition related to motion.

Image retention desroy any chances to use OLED as a PC monitor. Even films with black bar, since many are wider than 16:9.

I keep waiting technology to create a decent screen to watch films in HD. Come industry, show me some decent thing, I'm tired of all these crap screen and crap video compressions.

I'm really tired of blind people...

In other forum, about old films, I said these iamges bellow was a proof the digital compression system was a failure for TV Broadcast and for Streaming :

https://www.startrek.com.ar/wp-conte...9/out140-1.png

http://hotactors.info/images/Jayne-B...ne-Brook-2.jpg

https://i1.wp.com/discovery.trekcore...-cornwell1.jpg

https://i0.wp.com/www.tor.com/wp-con...vertical&ssl=1

But the member told the image was fine, and told me the blurred faces was a artistic choice. Oh come on... The heavy digital artefacts everywhere, the blured wrinkles, the blured hair, the poor gradients (banding).
These same people, before told me such despicable iamge was fine, in other times used to tell me that it was the system in my country that was poor and that on USA the broadcast and streaming was very good. That's bull... isnce the image captures show cleary how terrible these images looks, loosing most HD details, replacing image with digital artefacts.

So I created a term to describe thse fake digital, since digital give a idea of perfection, but miost times we got a lot of detail loss even worse than the īpercentual loss of some analogiuc systems. As I said there :

"For video the term Digital should be replaced by the term Dignalogic (digital+analogic) since digital give a fake ideal of perfection, of no loss (since it's just zeros and ones). But compression technology elevated digital to a analogic levels, level of loss, since it's replacing the original information with a analogue (processed by compression algoritims), and most times a bad analogue, despite still be in the binary realm of 0 and 1."

Yes,not digital, but a bad analogue, despite it use zeros and ones. It only would have no loss if we compare a compressed file to another file copied with the same zeros and ones, but both would hyave the loss if compared to the uncompressed fuile. And even the copy of digital compressed in general don't get the same, since the files are everytime compressed again for different system orsystems similar but with different compression rate, so what happens is that some chaels are compressed and recompressed aghain and again, from where it was captured and to another system. So it's loss over loass over loss, all the somatory of quality loss.

This is no digital, in the terms of digital purity of avoid loss, as we were used in CD times. These files can use binary but are presentying a analogue from a analogue from a original file, and not the original file itself.

In other words, it's all a big hoax.
I chalenge anyone in this planet to show a decent sytem. Come on.. I'm waiting...

Somewhere... Over the rainbow... Blue birds fly...
They are flying high... over that old rainbow... with "artifacts rainbow lines"...
And the dreams that you dream of for HD... Just screw up by...

This is the worst of both worlds. CRT's big a-ss back tube and LCD's poor colors anjd distortion view at angles.
If I wasn't a atheist I would say Hell is full of such displays everywhere.
Why this?? Is that because CRT monocromatic displays it's easier to build in very high resolution than color CRT displays?

If we were talking about electric car's downside you would agree with complains. But we are talking about video and you all here think I'm crazy for complain so much.

I'm not kidding... I just can't sit in the couch and watch a film, enjoy it, any longer. I just can't, since I get a repulse feel just to look at LCD and LEDs TVs. For PC I can only watch short videos, and not in full screen, and I sit direct, zero degree angle to the PC monitor. Also can't enjoy a full lenght film on PC as entertainment.

That's why I'm so angry about it. Modern digital home video destroyed my home video entertainment. Digital TV and digital broadcast. I can't stand both.

Sorry, I didn't mean to trigger you all over again; I was just curious.

You'll be pleased to note that it is an obsolescent technology that didn't go anywhere, if only because the screen size isn't scalable. I thought it was interesting due to it's relationship with the proposed color wheel standard that lost to NTSC.

redpoint5 was referring to the variable post count per page.

If I had a famous youtube chanels I would invitye all TV manufatures, making a challenge to them. I would challenge to present me TV that I don't find to be a garbage.
And I would also challenge all companies who develop video compression system to show me a compressed video I don't find a crap. And I would challenge also to show me a broadcast of digital video in 4K that have true 4K image details, instead of the actual much lower details.

I could entitle it like : Hey home video industry. I challenge you to show me something that it's not a lie.

For me all LCD/LED panels are obsolecent...
I will never watch a entire film in such things. Never !!! I promissed it to myself. It's a matter of dignity.

This guy made a nice didacict video about the problems with video compression. Even maximun bitrate set can't render good images in some cases :
