It's funny that you say that you had the extra weight in the car. My best tank for my hf was 62.82mpg and that was Sacramento to Santa Cruz and I had extra weight as well, my German Shepherd, my hockey gear, another person, clothes and **** for 2, and miscellaneous stuff. I would guess it was ~300lbs extra.

I've got a golden ticket! I finally fixed all the small problems with my car after it got into an accident last August and just passed inspection. I have another 10 months to enjoy my wonderful car!

I have two passenger mirror blanks. I'm going to sell them and offer them to ecomodder before I offer them anywhere else. They are part# 76221-SH4-0000 and am negotiable on a price. Both are used, one is in good condition, one looks to be re-painted with peeling paint. $30 obo for good condition and $25 obo for re-painted condition.

This is an okay place for this annoucement, but I think it'll get more attention in the "for sale" sub-forum. They look great, btw.

I probably should've done that in the first place oops, I guess I was thinking for some Honda specific interest seeing that personally I looked high and low for these and didn't find a thing.

Reason # 73 why I will never move to the People's Republic of Massachusetts. No BS safety inspections here.

For that reason if i ever move, States without inspections are at the top of the list. I believe there should be exemptions for any vehicle getting above 50mpg. Regardless of what idiot hybrid lights may be glowing on your dash! At least the trees are nice!

Texas has an inspection...I've gone in with multiple codes on the truck and no problem; not part of the inspection. He fills out a form and drives around the block. Checks for broken lenses and signs the form. Didn't care that I have the fog lights covered; an air dam; the grill blocked off; and tires at 44 psi.

California does not do safety inspections. It only does smog. I hate the emissions tests, but I know what they are for. Millions lived in areas where they were routinely warned to stay in their homes because breathing could be dangerous. Here's LA City Hall on just one such day in 1948 (before the mega freeway boom):

Here's Elisian Park in 1980:

I first visited LA on a smoggy day in 1994. My eyes burned. Even as dramatically improved as things are from their low in the 1960s/1970s CA still has most of the smoggiest cities in the country.

I sometimes wish I didn't live here. Haha.
