Getting a alignment.
Tesla didn’t tighten the rear toe adjusters when they changed last MDU and it was flopping.
Love the car, the service is atrocious.

Do you ever watch the YouTube channel "Rich Rebuilds"? His stories of interacting with Tesla as a DIY builder/modifier are epic.

Yup, I know Rich. I’ve been in Deloris before.

That is cool, man. Great channel. Did you get a cameo in an episode? Help with a build?

Public Service Announcement
Just a thought: This thread really isn't the best place to document extensive build updates.
(racprops' detailed update brought this to mind. I know there are people subscribed to your project thread who will miss out if that info doesn't appear there.)
Ideally, people will keep their individual build/vehicle threads going, and maybe just use this thread to keep us posted of minor updates or that there has been progress posted in the main thread.
And of course to post non-eco related updates.

Nothing that exciting, but I did spend a solid hour hanging out with him and know some secrets that make me realize that being a YouTube personality is something that I don’t want to be (not that I asked, nor ever really wanted to be). My cars Vin is only 3 away from Deloris.

A brush with internet celebrity! That's fun.
I've watched more than a couple of his videos. I get a kick out of his sense of humour and can identify with his half-assed approach to certain builds (eg. the EV rat rod).
I love that he calls his rebuilt BMW i8 "The Prius".

Princess and the pea
I have been motivated to make the Metro even less annoying...
- Secured a rattling exhaust hanger.
- Identified a CREEEEAAAKing steering part (strut bearing). Now just need to figure out an easy way to lubricate it.
- I ordered a couple of exhaust gaskets to address a minor but annoying pfft-pffft leak.
The parts guy told me, "my computer shows the last time anyone bought those parts from us was 6 years ago." I replied, "it was probably me!"

At some point over the last month, my Subaru developed a slight oil leak. At first it manifested itself as a weird smell after I'd driven for a few miles, and a few checks of the oil level and peeks underneath confirmed that it was losing oil (I think from the head) and dripping onto some part of the exhaust system. Great.
Keeping this car rolling in spite of all reason has become a point of pride for me, so I've started topping off the oil level before every drive and checking it again while I'm out. A quart container rides along. Good thing I haven't needed to drive very often or far this year!

Keeping the car is an ecomod. Eventually you'll fix that leak. I have my last remaining oil leak down to cam seal, front main seal, or oilpan seal. The last is my lead candidate. I watch the oil level, too. But I'm getting close to no oil leaks!
All I did today was a few minutes work on my Flatfish shaped trunklid spoiler... stingray!
