YKYAEM if:
* You see a prius tucked in behind an 18 wheeler pull out, just so that it can overtake at about 5kph / less than walking speed faster than the truck, and think "fool!".
* You've worked out that on a commute including 25km of freeway, the difference between 90kph and 110kph would only 'save' you 3 minutes... and even then only if traffic would allow you to do exactly 110kph the whole way, which is unlikely.
* You see mechanical failures on a new-to-you car not so much as an inconvenience as a good excuse to upgrade by swapping in more mpg-friendly parts.

YKYAEM when "driving blind" means having no fuel economy gauge on board.

It's even worse than that. The Fit has an onboard average gauge and a bar graph instant gauge. I'm just spoiled.

There's a nor'easter. The roads are a mess and someone rammed a state police cruiser at one of the worst traffic choke points in the area. You're taking a secondary route that only makes sense as an emergency at night, but you figure with the closings and delays that it might make sense today. You're on a back road stuck behind a manly guy in a pickup doing 25 or so and constantly tapping his brakes on the icy road.
Eventually he turns off the road and your first thought is Finally, I can turn off my engine and start making good time.

Yakky aim if: you work out the shift points you use for normal driving, the shift points for other people's 'normal' driving, and the shift points you'd use for drag racing (if that was a thing you'd do ) - and the rev ranges don't overlap.

YKYAEM when you don't even know ( or care ) when the price of gas goes up or down, because you use so little of it anyway.

YKYAEMI...
"If" while traveling down the highway; crossing lanes, you hesitate behind a larger vehicle to get a "itsy bitsy" more vacuum to shoot you off towards the next lane.
Yes, roll eyes sarcastic but so much satisfaction after the maneuver is complete(properly)!
