You know...
You know your an ecomodder when you get past by a hybrid and they are looking at your car!
This actually has happened a couple of times. A Civic and Prius.

You know your a eccomodder when your debating swapping out a totally good almost new set of tires for skinnier taller ones just to see what you get for MPG's.. Oh the drama!

Drive through? What are you doing in a drive through?

How about the Saturn (Opel) Astra, their new compact hatch that gets an awe inspiring 24 mpg city, 30 highway?

You know you're a ecomodder if
... you haven't bought gasoline since May 13th, 2008 and never plan to again in the future.
... your budget description transforms from "auto payment/gas/repairs/maintenance/ insurance/parking" to simply "other transportation expenses".
... you just dislike driving a car, period.
... you've ridden a bicycle in -13*F weather, with a snowmobile helmet, mittens, ski-pants, and a thick winter jacket.
... you regularly check the weather for winds/precipitation and adjust your commute accordingly.
... You think the $2.10 for a 1-way city bus ride is ridiculous because your transportation costs less than 7 pennies for each mile travelled (and goes down with every trip).

You know your a eco modder when...
you find your self imagining what any particular car on the road would look like with a kam back or boat tail or other general areomods like air damns and truck areo shells.. and at this point its instantaneous and un-voluntary, you literally start seeing these things on all cars in you mind..
When you wan to go test drive cars with your scan gauge just to see what some of these cars are capable of in the proper hands.

...when you're stuck in traffic conjuring up new "you know you're an ecomodder if..." statements.

Don't try this at home
Just for a moment you forget what oyu are driving and the following happens.
Your Mom comes into town, and you chauffeur her around in her car (cause she smokes and your car smells nice)
And at a stoplight she looks all weird and says
dramatic pause
" Did my car stall?"
At that point you realize you've killed her ignition and say
" No maam, just trying to save gas"
then she gets mad and tells you never do that to my car again.and she sounds all mean, like she means it.
You might also be an Ecomodder if you have ever Accidentally EOCed in a Semi Rig. During a test drive, on a down grade, with a half full trailer. Just a reminder that it is damn near impossible to turn the wheels on a 60,000# vehicle with no power assist.
Brakes are no problem, you have enough air pressure for around 6 full applications even with the engine off.
It will still take your breath away for a split second.
As my Grandson would say;
"Duh Grampa"
