300 miles (482 km) on 60 kWh in 2019 Chevy Bolt

We got our 2019 Chevy Bolt back from the dealership after they installed a new 66 kWh battery pack under the GM recall. When I picked up the car on march 12th I had no plans except to drive it down to a 5% SOC.

About half way through the run I was seeing miles driven plus estimated range left figures adding up to over 300 miles so I decided to go for a 300 mile personal best record on one charge. On March 19th we completed the run with 300.4 miles and 60 kWh on the dash.

The GOM was flashing and simply said Low and the car was telling to charge as soon as possible. It took 64.68 kWh to charge the car back to 95% but my best estimate is 66 kWh which amounts to 220 watt hours per mile which is 4.5 miles per kWh or 153 mpg-e.

This was accomplished in the second part of the driving cycle by driving low speed routes of 55 mph, 40 mph, and 45 mph. We did have 25 miles of interstate driving on the car which is the reason we just managed to get to our 300 mile target goal.
