i did - it DOES NOT IMPROVE ANYTHING

i did test magnets on the fuel line
years ago
on my 1988 VW Scirrocco , they do not have any effect at all on either fuel economy or fuel trim
both were measured before and during

the OP is lying or fibbing or misrepresenting that which he knows to be false
pick one
i am unimpressed as well but willing and very capable of proving that the magnets the OP is claiming are improving his FE in reality do NOT improve FE

the OP is guilty of attempting to perpetrate a HOAX on the readers of this very forum - but then again , almost all of the readers knew that

Well if that's all you've got then I'm not impressed.

As far as I'm concerned, the OP uses the magnets and they do work for him, just like some FE devices work for some and not others. Perhaps you attached the magnets the wrong way, perhaps they don't work with your particular car, perhaps the nut needs major adjustment etc etc.

I also tried magnets on the fuel line over 20 years ago on my 1985 Toyota pickup. I saw no change. But I didn't expect any. But it was cheap (no money and a little time) and worth a try.

I've fitted a giant horseshoe magnet to the roof of my house pointing west south west. So anyone in the US who gets better FE going east owes me money

mweb,
Your trying a magnet once and failing, is not scientific proof that magnets don't have an effect on fuel. Real scientists test and retest for years before they "discover" the next best thing. Today, if something doesn't happen in immediatly, then it's never going to happen. There are thousands of vehicles out there configured in hundreds of ways and just as many cofiguratons of magnet power and strengths. The chances of you getting the right combination in one try is astronomical.
I tried this setup and I got results whether the fuel was changed or not is not the point. The point is something changed in the vehicle to increase the mileage. That is the important part, what changed is what I'm looking for and how to duplicate it.
There is a member testing the magnets with a similar car to me. It's taking longer than I anticipated because of car drivability issues.

hondo,
The only reason the magnets work is because of the heroic efforts that ARRAGONIS is making by sacrificing he's 'royal' English root to slave away in TOTAL humiliation in a foriegn country with a large hourseshoe magnet on the top of his home.
