Fossil fuel only has carbon 12, and this shows that humans burning fossil fuels is what is causing climate change.
Burning biomass has a proportion of carbon 14. Volcanoes produce carbon 13.

He who hesitates is lost. But it's only Western Europe (Swden, UK, France and Germany). Eastern Europe has the Visegrad Group and the Three Seas Alliance, and Orthodox Christian Russia has their back. They haven't forgotten the siege of Vienna in 1529.
And Identity Evropa isn't going to lay down. They are currently blocking the pass between Italy and France.

Moral and ethical ≠ consequence free. South Africa is now a failed state.

A few days ago this was the only thread that seemed to get any posts.
Anyway:
phys.org:Balancing nuclear and renewable energy
Quote:
Nuclear power plants typically run either at full capacity or not at all. Yet the plants have the technical ability to adjust to the changing demand for power and thus better accommodate sources of renewable energy such as wind or solar power.
Researchers from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology recently explored the benefits of doing just that. If nuclear plants generated power in a more flexible manner, the researchers say, the plants could lower electricity costs for consumers, enable the use of more renewable energy, improve the economics of nuclear energy and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

That's three wins.

I believe it's called the national ignition facility.
So far it's the only fusion technique that almost achieves contained nuclear fusion.
This type of system was only supposed to achieve fusion for research. Now since it's the only nuclear fusion reactor to have ever worked reliability this design is being considered for commercial power application, much to the surprise of its creators.

Based on presumptions about the situation at the core of the Sun, the technology may eventually sustain or even break even, but it will be un-natural.
If it turns out to not bite us in the assumptions, it will be a first.

cleantechnica.com:Falling Grid-Scale Storage Prices Create “Watershed Moment”
Quote:
In remarks to the 28th annual conference of the Energy Storage Association held in Boston last week, ESA head Kelly Speakes-Backman was euphoric. “This is a watershed moment, friends, this is our moment,” she said. “On a regular basis, our teams are in contact with ISOs and RTOs who are seeking guidance in how to create markets and support rules that enable more storage on the transmission level, distribution level, in businesses, and in homes.”

Will there be a debate on what color we want the sun? Considering the number of selfies I see with post-apocalyptic sepia filters I vote for IBM Beige #10.
You know what? Let's go green! The plants will love it!
