While I do appreciate well executed trolling, I'd like to get back to things like "We choose to go to the moon and do the other things in this decade..." instead of trolling.

The federal government could probably stand to get cut fiscally by 50%...

We have SpaceX for that. Did you follow his speech at Boca Chica? Mostly the Moon with one obligatory Mars slide at the end.

One way he can contribute to that 50% reduction is using the Starship to replace deliveries via Galaxy C5-A Starlifter. Make more sense than the New-York-Toyko red-eye.

I suppose I could ruin that report too.
Reading these reports is going to become my fall/winter hobby.
Based on what I have read so far in these ipcc reports is some adult, because no kid is going to sit still long enough to read over 100 pages of dry as hell ipcc report found it and fed it to the poor exploited child. What likely happened is an adult control F searched the paper for the most sensational snipit, took that out of context, ignored all the other content and blew that one bit of report way out of context.

Plus if it's last years paper it's probably before the ipcc admitted they are properly over estimating the effect of CO2 by double what it really is.

Yeah this report is old. I'm pretty sure that 0.3C per decade isn't considered realistic any more by the ipcc.
And they're cherry picking, using 1850 to 1900 as their example of "pre industrial climate". We already know the mid 1880s were unusually cold because of Krakatoa.
That begs the question why not use a couple hundred years, why use 50? Why not go back as far as the data allows since it's all pre industrial and try to throw out the obvious vulcanism?

Yeah this is an older more dire sounding report of up to but probably not 2C warming by 2100. No wonder they reference this one.

Fact is the best thing everyone can do is read the reports themselves. Once that starts happening dooms day global warming is finished.
I can say with high confidence I don't think most of the dooms day believers read these reports unless only to search out the most dire, sensational parts and ignore everything else.

For example the 2017 report tries to normalize 2C warming while the latest sub report clearly shows 2C probably isn't likely even in the worst scenario.

Furthermore anyone who says this is settled science only needs to read any 2 reports separated by more than a few years to see this clearly isn't the case.

Yeah theres the inconvenient truth.
They're so stunned by this they are either at a loss for words which is hard to believe or they are just going to pretend like it didn't happen.

IMO it wasn't that dire unless you only look at all the worst case scenarios.
