S-O video : 91% proficiency in predicting...........

Says who?
How about zero-proficiency!

S-O video and Jerry Liu

Jerry Z. Liu, Ph.D. can't even get 'Abstract' right.
And the eleven-and-a -half lines of text B.D. provides are supposed to be sufficient to make the argument for his 'superconductivity' premise for the magnetosphere?
April fools early?

Six posts in 34 minutes. Could you summarize or point to the most relevant one? "[W]ithout a single-spaced, full page of caveats"?

* It appears that 'NONE' of what he posts is relevant.
* It's never been, as far as my experience goes.
* There appears to be some presumption that, if he posts an image, that he's in possession of an understanding of what it relates to. And without challenge.
* Every time I look at his posts, I'm reminded about his lack of specialized knowledge.
* Where a team of scientists might take six pages of fine print to flesh out the discussion of a single topic, and provide 75 technical references to accompany their peer-reviewed paper, Mr. Davidson is somehow empowered to cover half a dozen in one, with a single individual's anecdotal testimony?
* I can understand why the scientific community won't dignify any of his ignorant comments with a response.

Lost in translation. I intended which of the scattershot posts.

Spaeking of lost in translation --"self-realization to the impossibility of total knowledge forces deference"

What is he on about? I accept Scott Adams argument that peer review is meningless. You might review his seven tells for cognitive dissonance. http://www.scottadamssays.com/the-te...ve-dissonance/

I'd go with anti-Greta T. since she's educated and knows whereof she speaks.

What do I think the sun would do if there was an increase in cold dust around the star. Pretty much this:

The forum needs flood aka aerohead control. I think the part about laws of science being wrong fried a circuit.

Yeah that's been proven wrong. But if you feel it's true and insist on believing it be my guest.

There lies the problem. You don't question anything.
Then riddle me this for example why do we continue to say "current follows the path of lease resistance"? It's clearly wrong, it's easy to prove it's wrong and yet no one says anything or tries to correct it. We don't need a new hypnosis, just need to fix what we already have.
If we can't get the basic stuff right how can we expect people to make any kind theory or law that's even close to reality for more complicated phenomena?

This is clearly a post for science plebs and rubes. You are clearly so far ahead on so many levels, every way possible, why waist you time?

I also am concerned about a fried circuit.

It sounds like you want to put aerohead in control?

I find more value in the kat kartoonist thread. More respect for things like the Overton Window, mass hypnotism, the intrinsic worth of meta studies and peer review and so forth.

Now observes have discovered a dust ring by mercury no one ever noticed before. Yeah sure it's probably always been there.
https://www.newscientist.com/article...dont-know-why/
"Mercury appears to share its orbit with a huge ring of dust millions of kilometres thick, and scientists aren’t sure how it got there. None of the mechanisms researchers could think of to explain it create enough dust, and the region of space it passes through is so close to the sun that we would expect any dust there to be pulled in by the sun’s gravity almost immediately."
