I saw the two members of ISIS. Where were the FSA and SETF? The larger point is that McCain was there when the picture was taken, and the identity of the building in the background.

Baaaack on topic. Bill Whittle pointed to the HealthWeather charts that are relevant.

You are imagining things if you see ISIS members in random pictures.

What does the building have to do with anything? I do not know who the guys on the left were, but compare your picture with the ones that I found on Business Insider and they are different men.

The ones on the right aren't terrorists.

This article details most of the ways that Turnip caused his own September 11th: He Could Have Seen What Was Coming: Behind Trump’s Failure on the Virus. However, it does not mention Turnip disbanding Obama's pandemic response team in 2018.

Partly false claim: Trump fired entire pandemic response team in 2018

We have had 20,580 deaths in the U.S.

Quote:
The 9/11 attacks killed 2,753 people in New York City at the site of the World Trade Center and 2,977 nationwide in the attacks that occurred in New York City, Washington, DC, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
New York City's coronavirus death toll officially passed the number of people killed during the 9/11 attacks

Quote:
Since the start of U.S. military operations in Afghanistan through mid-2019, nearly 2,400 American servicemembers have died.
Coalition casualties in Afghanistan

Wikipedia says that 4,491 Americans died in Iraq. Casualties of the Iraq War

That totals 12,621.

I do not know what the total to date is, but the New York Times estimated that the September 11th attack and two wars cost $3.3 trillion in 2011.

How much is coronavirus costing us? Well, there was that $2.2 trillion stimulus bill and they are working on a smaller one.

It will be smaller, right?

I am sure that the 16,000,000 million jobs lost [so far] have been expensive, too, plus all of the millions losing wages.

“The first rule of virus economics is that you gotta stop the virus before you can do anything about the economics,” Goolsbee said. “If we’re spending trillions, I don’t understand why we’re not throwing hundreds of billions at the things we need to stop the spread.”

Trump actually warned that universal vote-by-mail could expand the electorate so dramatically that “you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”

[Democrats] could insist on funding for zero-emissions geothermal drilling projects that could employ laid-off oil workers. They could insist on reviving an Obama stimulus program for solar and wind projects that helped launch renewable power in the U.S. and put thousands of installers to work. And if Republicans balked, they could insist on undoing that $170 billion real estate tax cut, or for that matter undoing the firing of that Navy captain who tried to protect his seamen from the virus. The House could pass a bill with any or all of those popular demands, then put the pressure on McConnell to send it to Trump’s desk as quickly as possible.

The story goes back much further than [#44].

freebeard,

Well don't you have an entitled little opinion. Just had to make sure that everyone who doesn't care knows exactly how little ol extra special you feels. DAW

Personal attacks get tiresome. All I asserted (not opined) was that [44] didn't start the fire.

Oh sorry, context. A video posted and I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter without interrupting what I was doing to watch the video, and I got that response.

A bit non-sequitur, eh?

Happy Easter!

President Obama picked lots of losers. Fisker Karma was another.

Was there an actual reason that Reagan removed the panels? I could not imagine any problems that would require more response than unplugging them.

"Mr. President, do you still have solar panels on the White House?"
"Yes, they are still connected!"

Technically true, they would have been physically connected...

That article that I posted which shared the various ways that Turnip messed up the coronavirus response listed politicians that tried to add pet projects to the 2009 stimulus bill.

I hope that we don't have any of that and that there is proper oversight of how all of this money is spent. I was glad that there would be adult supervision for how the $2.2 trillion would be spent, but then Turnip fired the IG.

I'm more of an apatheist, but I totally support this:

Almost exactly a year after a devastating fire ravaged the centuries-old Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, an Easter mass marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ took place on Good Friday.

Although the procession was limited to just seven people because of the country-wide Wuhan coronavirus lockdown in France, the return to the damaged house of worship at the Île de la Cité on the Seine was broadcast nationwide to 67 million viewers.

Here, incremental changes in American life caused by the coronavirus, which originated in communist China, may bring about qualitative changes that transform America into a freer country.

When circumstances force people to distinguish between the critical and the superfluous, the process is truly "radical": it trims away all obstructing the root of things. The pie-in-the-sky thinking of the past will be replaced by recognizing the need to make hard choices.

This will impact consumer demand for goods and services.

Testing at a hospital in Chicago found that 30-50% of patients who have been tested for COVID-19 have antibodies in their system, which means they likely already had the virus and are immune, at least for an unknown period of time.

“A phlebotomist working at Roseland Community Hospital said Thursday that 30% to 50% of patients tested for the coronavirus have antibodies while only around 10% to 20% of those tested have the active virus,” Chicago City Wire reported on Thursday.
