Awesome! Good progress.

Nice to come in and read that after spending the day outside making a giant snow dinosaur with the little munchkins. Excellent, excellent.

I wish my munchkin was big enough to make a snow dinosaur...

Can't wait till the lil bugger's a little more tolerant of being outside and able to find things to keep himself entertained... I'll let him play with tools while I'm working on stuff.

See page 11-36, 11-38, and maybe the attached will be helpful.

In an earlier picture, you had no air filter housing. The factory one has a PCV hose attached to it.

Btw, that's a pretty axle.

We'll we see how much that helps later. I'm having a lot of trouble just getting the lights to work. The insight and CRX used different systems so I'm trying to match up the wires based on the output I'm getting from the crx switch and what the insight manual says, but nothing seems to work. Bah. Did get the signals and the brake lights going, but I won't be going anywhere if I can't figure out the lights...

She drives! She drives!

So far I've been around the block twice, but I need to put the front crossmember and stuff on before I do more of that. Also, I've got no speedo, which makes stuff hard. Anyone have a handy speed vs rpm/gear chart for the insight?

Also, it's horribly cold out.

Also, here are my codes:
P0118 [SOLVED]
P0141 [SOLVED]
P1523
P1542
P1644

If anyone has insight on any of these I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, fixing P0118 popped up a new code, P0141, which I anticipated since it's just something I never plugged in.

Damn it's windy, but I solved P0141 by lengthening a section of wiring so I could plug my o2 sensor in.

Yes, there is a speed vs RPM graph at InsightCentral, in the Encyclopedia, but it's not very precise. Just drop a bicycle GPS in there for now and call it "good enough for now". Actually, I bet that would pass inspection.

P1523 - brake booster pressure sensor - not plugged in?
P1542 - HTRS Passenger Compartment Heater Circuit Standby Signal ... - this is an input for the IMA system. See p 11-170. I bet you could replace the heater panel with the right size resistor. Maybe get someone to take some measurements on Heater Panel Pin 8 on a hot Insight? Don't look at me; it's COLD out there.
P1644 - My Motor Control Module! I can't feel my Motor Control Module!

What the devil is a brake booster pressure sensor? My brake booster doesn't have one . Think I can just jump the wires and it'll make the code go away?

Anyway, the other stuff will have to get finished here pretty soon. Not looking forward to freezing to death while I do it but I do want to have my car back.
