They produce a lot of them, but don't want to sell many... the Leaf seems like it was designed to be leased IMO.

An interesting look at the Model 3 compared to the i3 and the Bolt EV.

Fair is fair, on a positive note from me it looks like finally Thursday and Friday 5-6 guys on the Tesla waiting room said they took delivery of SR+ model 3's at the lower price. Supposedly they will be software limited at a later date but they got them for the $36,200 bottom price. One of them at least said he ordered by phone the day they took them offline, the others seem to have already been on the list. No autopilot as some of the invoices showed (as it's claimed as a feature standard on ALL Teslas now, except not). The features supposed to be disabled are working for now. To me it seems they are just delivering SR+ cars they had that weren't otherwise spoken for. Good deal, get it while you can, there will not be any announcement when it disappears for sure.

Sounds like a good deal for them. Were these new orders or people that have been on the reservation list?

We know that the reservation list doesn't apply to new orders if you are willing to spend $40K or more. (Tesla says they can deliver new orders in 2 weeks) I'm curious if Tesla has finally worked their way through their reservation list.

https://insideevs.com/news/343998/mo...les-scorecard/

According to Inside EVs, Tesla sold 10175 Model 3's last month. About 3x last March's numbers, but down from the high water mark of 25k in December.

Nooo! Is there a different link that talks about the Top Gear story? I'm not visiting that cesspool of a site until there are sufficient rumors that they have dissolved their cult and no longer actively attempt to mislead people through exaggeration or outright lies.
