Swag observation: about half of the teslas I see here in reno have noticeable visible (sitting in the car behind them) fitment issues, panels misaligned, doors not fully closing. I figure we have a hundred in the various models and many more visiting. Worst one had Georgia plates and looked like it was in an accident. Dirty ones seem to fit the best, since they tend to look like dodge darts.
Thought they were mostly being railcar shipped which gives you some leeway on filling the railcar because you park them in a lot for short-term storage until the train shows up.

But we really don't yet know what the sustainable sales numbers will look like.

Oversized bearings? If that's what it takes, it works.

Jack Rikard (EVTV) said he spun a Tesla motor by hand and it took 15 minutes to spin down. Aerospace stuff.

I need better documentation from Rikard. He is YouTube based. Can't see that happening with anything but ball bearings. The BAPTAs we built for satellites only spun for a couple of minutes.

Monro teardown Part II: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/featu...orst-decisions
Basically the electronics and power train are great but the body / chassis need a lot of improvement.
9 panels riveted, bonded, or welded together to make a wheelwell - Wow just Wow! That explains a lot of body / alignment problems they are having.
Partner Tesla's powertrain with someone that knows how to make a car and we would have a winner.
