Plz tell us about the lanolin treatment. I used to have about an ounce of pure lanolin, it did wonders for my hands.

I buy the brand "Fluid Film" and it works exceptionally well at preventing rust. You can get it by the gallon or in spray cans.

I know Moon disks are more eco-.

Next step is to strip the paint from the replacement fenders (LF-RR).

edit:
I hope to 3D print some center caps.

I used cable grease for that application.

Anyway, got a new insurance plate for my bike, aired up the tires and noticed 2 of my rear spokes where broken.
Will replace them now and ride a little.

Yesterday, I repaired a really bad coolant leak on my daughter's 06 BMW 325i. Incredibly, these cars have a bleeder screw on the overflow tank that is made of plastic and is easily overtightened so that it fails (even if not over tightened it will fail eventually due to expansion and contraction cycles), leading to possibly catastrophic coolant loss. My daughter did not even realize it was happening (she is 18 and still inexperienced). I noticed coolant in the driveway after she left for work. I DO NOT LIKE BMW.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

The center caps are printing more like a bird's nest than a center cap

Now I'm down a rabbit-hole. I can't [re-]find the site I found the file on. Trying to display the browser history fails. And I find Raspian Linux was renamed Raspebrry Pi OS a year ago. And there's a fork of the Marlin firmware for my printer that enables multicolored prints and enhanced bed leveling.

I was going to get some Fluid Film but the mechanic's shop closed for 2 weeks when their one employee had someone in the family test positive.
