As amazing as the current GTR is to drive (and boy are they) the transmission is actually still my complaint. It feels like it is hiding all of the character of the engine from the driver. I enjoy driving fast EV’s because I feel as though the character of the engine is still there, it’s just A very Different character than a fossil.
I can’t wait until I can afford a proper sports car EV, the first 2 I consider are Tycan and P3D. I truly love my P85, but it’s a boat with limited cooling.

Great! Or …
YKYAEM when a friend once again looks strange at your obsession for efficiency.

That pappy is an ecomodder. my pappy? not so much. His first car was a Model A and at some point he got 60 mph in his head as a great technological advance, "a mile a minute" he always liked to say like it was still a wonder. Not me. I hypermile the freeway at that speed, meditating on "a mile a minute" as mile & ¼ per minute cars sail by in the other lanes.

Like the pappy in the book, mine was a farmer. He was good at working with his hands, resourceful DIY repairs (lots of machines to keep running), and didn't abide wastefulness.
But his treat to himself after a lifetime of carefully & successfully building up the farm was a big fancy car. Ironically, that V8 Cadillac was the first car I ever drove that had a digital MPG gauge.

37 is about where my Mustang would get its best MPG. On a track like Indy, I could probably average over 60 MPG. My bladder capacity would lower my average.

If you leave it laying around better make sure it is clear that the contents should not be consumed!
Some people even bite bottles nowadays...
