Italdesign proposal. Probably has terrible aero but it sure looks cool. Said to be the inspiration for the VW Scirocco.
There's not much info on this car. I did however, find this.

Quote:
Aerodynamics:
Frontal area (A) 1.68 m2 / 18.1 sq ft / 18.1 sq ft (est.)
Audi Asso di Picche (1973)

I always liked the Scirocco but this car looks a lot better.

There's more at 1973 Audi Karmann Asso di Picche (ItalDesign) -

With those approach/departure angles and the lift, it looks like an off-roader.

Italdesign is Giugiaro. He offered this design to VW for the Sirocco and they said "We think we can do better". (Look at the cut lines on the hatch and hood) It wound up at Isuzu instead.

Edit: I did some more reading. The Asso di Picche was commissioned by Karmann (which explains their name plate on the rear) in the hope of getting the work from Audi.

The Impulse is actually modeled on their 1979 Isuzu Asso di Fiori:

That was good, but also longer than it needed to be.
