im gonna put it on jacks again and try from underneath the car tommorrow morning. i dont think i was getting enough leverage from the engine bay

a breaker bar with a 4 foot chunk of pipe worked fine for me from the engine bay.

These are on a B-series tranny but I doubt the D-series will be much, if any different.

It's an ordinary bolt, counter clockwise, or "lefty," will loosen it. If oil comes out when you open it, then it's full. If none comes out and you add a little until oil does spill out, then you'll know it is full.

Yep ^! The drain plug takes a standard size Honda oil crush washer while the fill plug is a little bigger.

Finally got it off.fluid is coming out.too much fluid? Im shocked.

Can't know if it's too much without knowing how much? A couple ounces or 1.9 liters? And you removed the regular (14mm?) bolt not the one that require inserting the ratchet head into, right?

How did it look? was the car parked on flat with all 4 wheels on the ground?

It's the fill hole, so over filling is not an easy task.
