What If ???

I was considering mounting a large electromagnet to the front of my pickup. I could then draft a semi, latch on and get really good miliage

...but, just think about all the nails, screws, bolts and other ferrous junk you'd be "collecting" along the way too (wink, wink)!

Maybe he can sell them to help pay for the magnet?

I must admit that magnets increased mileage in my car too (Opel Astra G 1.4) for about 7%, even though I wrote in previous post that in most cases they don't give a result.
And some usefull information to everyone who likes to try magnets for mpg gain absolutely FOR FREE! I you guys have a damaged old hard disk, you can take the permanent magnets from it, following the instructions of the video

These magnets are much stronger than those from market. So using 2 tight ups, you can adapt these magnets easily and try them for mpg gain..I used 2 of this kind of magnets in my Astra for mpg gain

carbloggergr, thanks for input and candidness. Glad to hear your success. Members here want to see a A-B-A test. If you take off your magnets does your milage decrease? I have tried taking off the magnets for a short time but didn't see any decrease. I think the ECU has changed and would take a while to change back to original state.Did you check oil when you installed the magnets for blackness. My oil became very black as it cleaned out the combustion chamber. Now it stays cleaner much longer.

So your mileage didn't decrease, so your magnets failed the A-B-A testing. Gotcha.

And how does "magnetically aligning the fuel molecules" clean out the combustion chamber??

Clev,I've been over that earlier. When I put magnets on, after a few tanks of gas my engine smoothed out noticably and when I changed the oil it was pitch black, blacker than I've ever seen it. After that the oil stays clean up to ten thousand miles. Whether it's aligning molecules or what ever you want to call it, it definitly made a difference.
I'm not trying to hide the fact that I didn't see a decrease in milage when I took off magnets. I only took them off for a short time on a trip. i did see the milage drop for a few minutes but then it went back up, so I didn't take that test seriously.

Very strange "interpretation" of the scientific method here.
