Got my freshly rebuilt injectors back today( to the tune of $250). Going to install them tomorrow.
First fill in the morning .
I'll be Ecomodder-less over the weekend, and I've made a pact to not-work-on-the-car also.

Let's hope the withdrawal symptoms won't be too bad

I'm sure the lady that I made the pact with will find some way to keep me occupied if I do start to have withdrawal symptoms .
First fill is in the books. I know, short fill, but it is rally style, same level in the fill neck. This week I'll be concentrating on highway driving, so it won't be as good.
Rebuilt injectors will go in Monday night.
Still no belly pan on.

I'm confused, wouldn't the highway be where the boat tail would most benefit you? You do a lot of P&G on the surface roads and little on the freeways?

My 20.45 mile commute route is probably as good as it gets for P&G and EO(ff)C, especially on the way to work. With the gas engine, I RARELY ran the engine enough to reach the thermostat opening temp, even when I made trips during the day at 90 deg.F. I was using as little as .15 gallons for the trip to work. Highways around here are long uphills( 1-3 miles) followed by nearly the same down hill. Getting up those long hills burns a lot of fuel, and I would get worse mileage on the highway route.
Aero does help quite a bit, as I was getting 50mpg on cruise control on the highway just before the swap, better if I went 55 and used EOC. As with Palemalanesian, I keep getting better and better at the off highway route.

High speed is where the boattail will shine, in a relative sort of way, but it doesn't mean that's where Jethro will also get his best mileage as highway speeds are generally higher.
If you look at basjoos' Aerocivic speed/mpg relation, this also drops off a lot when he's going faster.
A boattail on the motorway @ 50-55 mph would do small miracles.

There's a man who loves his wife right there, I tell you what.
Congrats on 70!

I'm back .
Car ran very well over the trip. Wish I would have installed the injectors, but they are in now so I'll get over it.
Much cleaner burn, better throttle response, better power uphill,... amazing. I highly recommend getting old injectors rebuilt. Whole different car.
Going to try for the backup camera install tomorrow. Front struts have been ordered. I'm going to chop one turn on the coils while I have them apart.

It is official, I am booked and confirmed for tenting on the nights of Sept 7 and 8! I am assessing the long-distance road worthiness of the "black and green" civic, but I'm traveling with my 10 year old, so I may make the trip in my wife's 2011 Subaru.

Sweet! The more the merrier.
Camera is in and working.
Actual screen shot from...
Couldn't mount it on top of the plate as it would have blocked the light.
Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Few more electrical mods, cruise control, seal cracks/smooth tail, tail interior, front struts/alignment, get H-rated tires & rims, final seal for exhaust, watch oil leak, get fire extinguisher, steel battery hold down, clean car, fill out all paperwork, join AAA, service car once again before leaving, reinstall belly pan, front tire skirts(?),... That's about all I can think of right now. See... almost done .
