Here are some instructions for a sanding skiff. From Georgi Georgiev

Don't worry about less than 60 grit.

I would add that you should get several tubes of spot filler apply it with a smooth plastic card then sand and fill, spray with flat primer then repeat.

Thanks Varn. I like the sanding block that flexes. With time as short as it is, I'm planning to seal the foam and fill the cracks with resin and paint. I have to be out of the paint booth no later than Sunday night, 4pm. Prep work tomorrow. After the trip( and appropriate amount of rest) I'll get to making things smoother . I'm thinking of using it for a plug and make a nice, light glass tail.

6 days and a wake up... S**T! UNDER A WEEK!

Got called out last night before I could post pics.

Main body scuffed, not wiped down.

The filling in over the tail lights came out pretty good for the amount of time I've put into it. Hopefully I let the foam cure enough to prevent cracking. I couldn't smell it curing after I sanded it, so we'll see.

Last pic of it looking like a "Fishy Car". I didn't bother smoothing the runs in the resin. I did trim off the runs that continued down the sides and to the ground. If I don't get called in again, I should have some pics later today.

Busy day today,

Took off most of the extras, taped up the rest.

Then came the fun part. I needed some fun with the car. All work and no play,...

And then it was gray.

Seems to set the Ecomodder off quite well, I think.

I'll start the lettering tomorrow.

Nice primer.

To be honest, I was expecting something a lot wilder than gray.

This is blending in with the tarmac too good to be safe.

I was forwarded a youtube link from WOS 2011, that shows a lot of the event from the perspective of a 130mph club contestant's point of view, driver's meeting, stage lanes, pit area, bend in the road camping, etc.
