Ha ha yup, lot more of them for sale there than here! But I sure ain't going to drive one back, that'll throw the profit margin right out the window! Drive an eco car there, buy trucks, and ship them direct to Spokane. Then drive back in same eco car for a total fuel cost round trip less than about 1/4 of the way in a gas powered F350.

I see this Echo Hatchback in my neighbourhood all the time:
I know I have said that Echos are the ugliest car ever made (and I stand by that claim), but I protest to say that I love the hatchback version. As a matter of fact, a 2004 Hatchback was the first brand new car I ever bought. Mine was the RS - five door with aluminum rims (similar looking to this car) and an RS badge - in red. Canada was lucky enough to get the Echo Hatchback from 2004 until the Yaris was released.

Who remember the Suzuki Baleno? They're not so easy to find here, but I spotted this wagon in my neighborhood.
Their mini SUVs might not be considered "eco" at all but are still among my favorite bases for a trail rig.
The Swift is still one of the cars from the 90's most liked by my dad.
It's not so easy to find a Volkswagen Gol with the 1.0L 16-valve engine in the basic trim, the 8-valve ones were more common.

I've had several samurai's. decent mileage (upper 20s) and would go anywhere you would care to take it. My ultimate dream off roader is a LWB samurai with a vw tdi, on 33s with front and rear lockers. It'd go anywhere and still pull upper 20s.
From what I understand the sidekicks (and trackers) are nearly as good, with the only difference being the IFS vs Solid front axle.
I also kind of covet a suzuki Jimny (coil sprung evolved samurai) as a base for a small offroad rig.

How could I forget these ones?
Fiat Uno panel used by a construction materials shop for deliveries. Probably it had been previously used by the postal service.
Brazilian 3rd-generation Fiat Fiorino, different from the Euro model, and only available as a cargo van.

Where I live the hardcore off-roaders still prefer the Samurai versions with leaf springs, altough there was a version with the same coil springs setup used in the current Jimny.

Without ever seeing one first hand that was my impression and that's also what I liked about all of the samurai I have had.
