Hey, if you have a caliper, go measure the Insight's hub side diameter, and I'll check and see if the HF axles I have are the same diameter. If they are, they'll fit.

Nope, no insight calipers handy. I didn't bother to grab them since they're macpherson and I couldn't do crap with them anyway.
Think I should bother looking for it in the shop manual?

Ummm... Caliper:
Not caliper:
I need you to measure the OD of the splined part of the hub side of the axle, I need a high and a low measurement. (Measure 4 or 5 places around the axle's splines, take the highest and lowest numbers.)

Good point, I don't own one. How about I wrap a piece of paper around the circumference and measure that? (tomorrow)

Fair enough, I can get a decent measurement from that, and I'll measure one of the HF axles this weekend while I'm at my Father's house.

I think the planets are aligning.
So tomorrow I will do that, finish jacking up the car and moving the z1 out of the way, then I'll pull all the wiring and associated BS out and trying to get the new wiring, computer, shift linkage, etc in so that I can know how things will route and work out. Then, fif I have time I'll shuffle the insight engine in, put the suspension back together, and work on positioning the stuff so I can start working on figuring out what I'm gonna need for mounts.

Thanks to tygen1 for stopping by! Sorry about my dad, he likes to talk a lot.
Anyway, got everything that is going to come out of the engine bay out, so it's time to clean it well! Ty suggested some simple green, so in a bit I'm going to head out to the store and get some unless someone else knows something even better!
I've debated clear coating the engine bay but I don't think I'm going to go that far since I don't feel like stripping the other stuff off, but I'll probably end up doing the brakes now that I'm here...though I still want integra parts for the bb and mc.

It's okay; it's for the greater good. He needs to bump up his percentages to make up for the measly 58% over EPA I'm contributing to Team Honda.
