Another piece is that climate science is almost 200 years old.

And we are getting new technology - we now can measure how long rocks have been exposed; like those that are left behind by glaciers. So, we can measure when that glacier melted.

The Obamas are buying a 15 million dollar beach front mansion in Martha's vineyard. Looks like it's about 10 feet above sea level if that.

"The Lakeview Generating Station supplied power to the province of Ontario from 1962 to 2005. It generated more than 215 billion kWh of electricity in its 43 years of operation."
.
Keep in mind that they have demolished 4.000 MW of generating capacity. And in it's place now stands 44MW name plate capacity of solar. Which will actually have a capacity factor of 15% in it's snowy location. So will only average 6.6MW.
.
0.17% of it's former output. With many days near zero in the winter.
.
This is where we are headed. Things will be much smaller and simpler once again in the future. Simplify now and beat the rush.
.
"The Nanticoke Generating Station is a 44 MW solar power station which started operation in April 2019.[2] Previously from 1972 to 2013, it was the largest coal-fired power plant in North America. At full capacity, it could provide 3,964 MW of power into the southern Ontario power grid from its base in Nanticoke, Ontario, Canada,"

There's plenty of room at the bottom.

Pollution is as big a problem as extreme weather. In the Venn diagram overlap we find making jet fuel and diesel from plastic waste (in 3mm pellets): Turning Plastic Waste into Jet Fuel!

That's why people who did all kind of sh...t, and then converted to evangelic (or other strong religon) start to act as was a saint and pointing finger to everyone who did much less sh...t.

So that eliminates all the green house Venus straw man.
The planet has been warming since towards the end of the the last ice age. I don't think anyone here ever said the climate stays the same. Predicting warming is like predicting the tides.
One decade being warmer than another is not the definition of climate change.
Predicting El Nino weather and comparing that to a climate change prediction is an incredible stretch. These days they call it long term forecasting.
Mount Kilimanjaro being ice free 10,700 years ago and now just tells us it's likely ice free multiple times during an interglacial period so that doesn't prove anything. Sounds more like denier talk.
I'd have to go back and find your exact quote, but in the past, you've implied that scientists have never been able to predict anything with success. When I read what you posted,I immediately thought your comment non-factual,so I've made an attempt to flag items that provide counter-factual evidence.
*I don't know what you mean about Venus.
*Predicting warming with anthropogenic greenhouse gases is nothing like predicting tides.
*When decadal warming goes beyond the bounds of trends recorded in the paleoclimate record,it is exactly by definition, global climate change.
*Predicting an El Nino was a complete scientific coup.
*Predicting global climate change entails a more rigorous mathematical model.
*The lesson from Kilimanjaro is,that Lonnie Thompson's understanding of ice dynamics was verified by direct observation of the ice cores retrieved on the ice cap, which dovetailed with the ice cores from all over the world, allowing glaciologists to better understand the last four ice ages,up to that point,a bigger mystery.Their research proved the myth of the Younger-Dryas/thermohaline cycle connection,a major breakthrough in climate science.

All under the guise of protecting the planet from man-made global warming.

“No matter if the science of global warming is all phony – climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”

– Christine Stewart: Former Canadian Minister of the Environment

I could go on and on with quotes and reports about the problems of the science or lack of science of global warming, but I will not, above is just one quote. Oh, and remember in the 70s they told us global cooling was the problem.

Man made global warming is a farce if you think excess CO2 has created all this global warming. Man made CO2 is less that 1% of all the CO2 created each year.

This scientist drives by choice a 97 geo metro that gets on average 42 to 75 MPG depending on how careful I drive and the temperature outside and if the fuel is oxygenated or not or AC is used or not.
S. Fred Singer got paid $60,000 a year, plus expenses to write this sort of material. If you're not already working for the George C. Marshall Institute,or Competitive Enterprise Institute, you may want to give
em a call.You'd be perfect!
