With such easy access to so much flammable waste as fuel, I wonder if you wouldn't do well to build a waste fuel boiler?
I see designs for waste oil burners that could easily be adapted to water heating, I wonder if you could do similar with a water circulation loop feeding some boilers inside the house.
I only say this because I saw you mention 10 55-gal drums of waste solvent earlier and my eyes got kind of shiny, thinking about an awful lot of free heat. 550 gallons of fuel would take me right through winter and probably be a good start on the next season too.

There are times I wonder WTF???
Today my car decided to be a PITA!!!!!!
My MAP sensor was acting totally messed up. It would read 42psi at idle and 36psi when the engine was off. I couldn't keep the car running, after about 2 seconds it would just load up and die. I kept thinking I must of change something in the ECU inputs accidentally???
But after walking away and enjoying a nice dinner and a fire outside I decided to just look at what the map connection's looked like? Then I found this.
The ground wire for the MAF to MAP Speed Density cable came out.
So now I have my car tore all apart chasing ghost and crap that's not even there.

It might, in some situations. The trouble is, there is no way in hell one could have the self discipline to drive it that way.

Fellow Ecomodders a little update. I got my car running again, it has been a major pain this go around!!! I have been having lifter issues, oil leaks and ecu problems.
I forgot to bleed my lifters with the new revised head and had lifter pump up. So I upgraded while the valve cover was off and put in 3g lifters.
Had the typical oil leaks on the new build and had to order a new low pressure turbo return gasket.
My ecu is doing something weird again. I had it rebuilt last year because of leaking caps. It was sending voltage to the ecu cover housing. About 3 volts??? Anyway it started doing it again so I unbolted from the dash and now its laying on the passenger floor again. I have know idea whats going on here??? But it runs fine as long as it doesn't touch any of the metal of the car???
I got all the hoses attach again. It looks like a vacuum hose nightmare.
I'm going to need three extra co-pilots just to run this thing. lol

Yikes! Sounds a little like my mystery sensor data... imagine how many weird electronic mystery problems will start popping up in aged Volts and Teslas and such, with their hundreds of sensors...

Glad to hear the car is getting back up and running well!
I had the strange idea to build a cover for the ECU out of wood. And then cover it with metal, or just paint it
I know now why I thought of that... Because I made a case for my CD player for my old truck several years ago lol!

The age does the solid state motor drivers no favors.
I thought motor drives pretty much lasted forever and didn't give you to many problems, then I started working on them and learned better then to believe that propaganda.
The sensors only appear to have about a 7 to 10 year life then you get your first ones starting to fail. Most will last longer than that, but not all of them will.

Funny you said that. Last year before I had this ecu rebuilt I had it in a USPS box, tucked up under the dash. It looks like that's going to be the plain again?

Update:
Been driving the Talon around need to change a few things.
First I need to raise up the car its way to low. So going raise it up another 2".
I had to change some charge pipes around, my passenger front tire was hitting the charge pipe.
I also did some testing without the turbo box. The cars mid mount low turbo is extremely noisy and very hot. So the box is doing its job keeping the noise down and keeping me cool.
I'm also going to change the valve cover bolts to studs. I have had the valve cover off and back on probably twenty times all ready adjusting my valve system that promotes swirl.
The hot EGR is going to have to go. I blew out the vacuum diaphragm from high boost 45+ psi. So I'm going to have cold EGR only.
Good news no oil leaks. This is awesome considering its a DSM.lol Also engine delta p is .5psi for the good at 1 lb of light load freeway.
